2026 Programs

All UVRF programs now have the following requirements:
1) Membership in USRowing (New option is a 60 day Learn-to-Row membership for $10, with an upgrade to Annual Basic for $20 if you continue)
2) Swim test must be taken for all multi-day programs. See for information Swim Test
3) All multi-day participants over 18 year of age must take a Safesport course at USRowing. The course depends on what program you will be in.
4) All programs other than Learn to Scull and Novice Sweep require a UVRF membership (Seasonal or annual membership).
Learn to Scull and Novice Sweep do not require a UVRF membership.  If you want to continue after either of those sessions, you must join UVRF with a paid membership.
 

UVRF offers a variety of coached programs and classes. Details on each of these programs are provided on the individual program page, which can be accessed through the links below and through the pull down menu under the “Programs” heading. UVRF coaches are also available to give private lessons. Please fill out the form using the button below  and the Executive Director will help you arrange it.
 
In addition to these coached programs, members can get access to club equipment by paying a usage fee.
 
Please note that scholarships are available for those who might need some assistance in order to sign up for any of our programs. All applications are confidential and thanks to generous donations, we have funds available. Email executive.director.uvrf@gmail.com to apply.
 
In 2022 UVRF in collaboration with Dartmouth offered the Dartmouth House Crew Program aimed at members of the Dartmouth House Communities. This was offered in May 2022 and may be offered again in the spring of 2026.
