2025 Programs

New for 2025 – All UVRF programs now have the following requirements:
1) Membership in USRowing (New this year is a 60 day Learn-to-Row membership for $10, with an upgrade to Annual Basic for $20 if you continue)
2) Swim test must be taken for all multi-day programs. See for information https://www.uppervalleyrowingfoundation.org/?page_id=1140
3) All multi-day participants over 18 year of age must take a Safesport course at USRowing. The course depends on what program you will be in.
4) All programs require a UVRF membership (Learn to Scull, Novice Sweep, seasonal or annual membership). Learn to Scull and Novice Sweep are new membership categories that are ONLY for participants in Learn to Scull or Novice Sweep sessions. They are free memberships which include the 1 week session and 2 weeks of rowing immediately after the Learn to Row session and the 4 week Novice Sweep session. If you want to continue after either session, you must join UVRF with a paid membership.
 

UVRF offers a variety of coached programs and classes. Details on each of these programs are provided on the individual program page, which can be accessed through the links below and through the pull down menu under the “Programs” heading. In addition to these coached  programs members can get access to equipment by paying a usage fee.
 
In 2022 UVRF in collaboration with Dartmouth offered the Dartmouth House Crew Program aimed at members of the Dartmouth House Communities. This was offered in May 2022 and may be offered again in the spring of 2025.
