This is an opportunity for those who choose to train in a program that focuses on maximizing technique and fitness in preparation for summer (1K/2K meter) and fall (5,000 meter) racing seasons. Practice lineups and race entries will include options for 8+s, 4+s, quads and doubles, in order to maximize training and opportunities for all who wish to race. Coaches, with the intent of making each experience positive and competitive, will determine all daily lineups and race entries and may use seat racing and erg testing for boat selection. Additional practices may be called prior to a race, particularly in the fall session.

Session 1: May 9/10 – June 3/4 (4 weeks) $165
Session 2: June 13/14 – Aug 19/20 (10 weeks) $395
Session 3: Aug 29/30 – Oct 28/29 (9 weeks) $360
Regular attendance is encouraged. For those who want to enter fall races, there may be additional practices. Race line-ups and schedule are at the discretion of the Head Coach. Racing costs in addition to program fee.
All participants including coxswains must be fully vaccinated (two weeks out from final shot whether 1- or 2-shot protocol) in order to participate in this program per UVRF rules. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to the first practice. You may upload a scan of your vaccination card confidentially by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email the same address to request alternative options for verification. (Please note, we cannot verify vaccination status at practice.)
